Matariki

May 2012 I was asked by Napier Carlyle Kindergarten if I would create a piece of artwork with the Children, our focus was the Matariki (Maori New Year celebration) I was keen to identify a place the children were familiar with so we chose Napier Bluff Hill, close to home -  On top observing the spectaculiar seven sisters in the night sky beyond are a group of parents with their
children.
